Low End
- On the Low end, your choice is simple.  Use the internal mic on your camcorder.  Remember though, your audio will pick up everything, sound echoey, and depending on your camcorder, your audio might be just plain poor.  Read our article on Audio tips for more info.

Mid Range - Wireless Mics - Remember, in order to use these wireless mics, you must have a microphone input on your camcorderClick here for more info on picking a camcorder and our picks.

A few years back these Sony mics were made in plastic.  Well Sony got wise and decided to take on the big audio manufacturers like Shure and Audio Technica and are now making these in tough metal casing.  Lets face it, you may be very gentle and loving to your mics.  But over 90% of the time, someone else will be wearing them, and I assure you, they will not be as loving and gentle!  I bought a couple of these recently and you can really tell the difference!
